St Lawrence Church Moodubelle SFO Visit to Karunalaya Ashram & St. Francis of Assisi Church, Thallur

As part of its social and community outreach activities,Secular Franciscan Order (SFO) of Moodubelle Parish 27 members visited Karunalaya Ashram, Brahmavar, where 10 elderly residents are cared for. The members spent meaningful time with them, sharing fellowship, joy, and love. Snacks were shared together, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere, followed by a group photograph with the residents.

Later, the SFO members proceeded to St. Francis of Assisi Church, Thallur, with the main purpose of obtaining the Plenary Indulgence during the Year of Saint Francis. Rev. Fr. Lawrence, Capuchin priest, led the members in Eucharistic Adoration and celebrated the Holy Mass. The members spent time in prayer and reflection, seeking God’s blessings through the intercession of St. Francis of Assisi.

The entire visit was a spiritually enriching, joyful, and memorable experience for all the SFO members of Moodubelle Parish. It strengthened their spirit of fraternity, compassion, prayer, and service, following the example of St. Francis of Assisi.
