Youth Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy on 16th August 2026 at the St. Lawrence Mini Hall, Moodubelle, bringing together more than 70 young people for a meaningful celebration of faith, friendship, family and unity. The highlight of the programme was an inspiring session by Rev. Fr. Roshan D’Souza, the Chief Guest, who spoke on the theme “Family Life.” Through his thoughtful message, he emphasized the importance of strong family values, mutual understanding, love, respect and healthy relationships in shaping the lives and future of young people. His message encouraged the youth to recognize the family as a foundation of faith, character and happiness.
The celebration was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. George D’Souza, ICYM Director; Rev. Fr. Stephen Rodrigues, Assistant Director; Dn. Shawn Andrade; Mrs. Jyothi D’Souza, Secretary of the Parish Council; Mrs. Monica; Mrs. Judith Lobo, YCS Animator; Loy Fernandes, ICYM President; and Jane Rebello, YCS President.
