St Lawrence Parish Day Food Preparation – A Celebration of Unity and Togetherness
On Sunday, 18th October 2026, the ward members of St. Lawrence Church, Moodubelle, gathered near the Parish Hall 9am to prepare food for the Parish Day celebration.
The preparation began with a prayer, seeking God’s blessings for the work and for the successful celebration of Parish Day. Our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. George Thomas D’Souza, Assistant Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Stephen Rodrigues, Parish Council members, ward members, and well-wishers were present and actively involved in the preparations.
The food preparation turned out to be a wonderful experience of teamwork, cooperation, and togetherness. Members worked hand in hand, sharing responsibilities, exchanging smiles, and strengthening the bonds of friendship and fellowship. The gathering beautifully reflected the spirit of unity and the sense of belonging that make our parish family special.
The day was not merely about preparing food but also about building relationships, fostering a spirit of service, and celebrating the joy of working together as one parish family.
The collective effort and enthusiastic participation of everyone made the preparation a memorable and meaningful experience, setting a joyful tone for the Parish Day celebration.
“United in faith, strengthened by fellowship, and blessed through service, we grow together as one parish family.”
